On the occasion of the nation’s 75th Diamond Jubilee, President Dr. Arif Alvi presented Pakistan civil awards to 253 citizens and foreign persons.
According to specifics, the residents received medals for displaying excellence and bravery in many sectors. On March 23, 2023, Pakistan Day, there will be an investiture ceremony for these honors.
For their exceptional leadership abilities and services to Pakistan, Mr. Asif Peer, Miss Jehan Ara, and Mr. Mudassir Sheikha have been nominated for the highest civilian awards, much like their counterparts in other fields.
Mr. Asif peer has been awarded Sitara-e-Imtiaz. After graduating from FAST, Karachi, Mr. Asif Peer, who is currently the CEO, a member of the board, and the managing director of Systems Limited, began his career with Systems as an associate developer.
At Visionet Systems Inc., he also held the positions of senior vice president of Services and VP of Servicing Technologies.
His professional experience with Systems Limited’s sister company in the USA spans 13 years, giving him a total of 18 years of experience.
According to a 2014 report, he was one of Pakistan’s Top 11 CEOs, by Manager Today and CEO club both identified him as one of the best-performing CEOs and Leaders in the country.
Miss. Jehan Ara has been awarded Tamgha-e-Imtiaz. Jehan Ara is the founder and chief executive officer of Katalyst Labs, a startup accelerator, innovation hub, and program for women in leadership.
She led initiatives for more than 20 years as the former president of the Pakistan Software Houses Association for IT & ITES (P@SHA), where she was in charge of building the P@SHA brand and ties to domestic and foreign partners.
Mr. Mudassir Sheikha has been awarded Tamgha-e-Imtiaz. The co-founder and CEO of Careem, the top automobile rental company in MENA with operations ranging from Pakistan to Morocco, is Mudassir Sheikha. Careem is situated in Dubai.
