To assist businesses in enhancing their internal communication and culture, Zoom has purchased the employee communications platform Workvivo.
Zoom has continually upgraded its platform to engage and keep more consumers since the pandemic’s increasing use. The organization hopes to “fully unlock the potential of their employees and evolve their company culture in a hybrid world” with the employee communications platform on board.
Why Zoom Acquires Workvivo
Workvivo, according to ZDNet, offers a variety of alternatives like polls, surveys, activity feeds, shout-outs, email digests, community groups, organization charts, and shared calendars to aid in improved employee communication in a digital or hybrid office.
We believe people work to live, not live to work – which is why we’re excited to share @workvivo will be joining our team! Together, we will expand our platform and focus on putting your people at the heart of work. ???????? https://t.co/LfzuXsEywX

As per Zoom, “engaging employees and driving culture through connection is no longer a ‘nice to have’ — it’s imperative for success in today’s business environment”. Consequently, buying Workvivo is in line with the platform’s goals.
However, Zoom has not yet disclosed the agreement’s terms and conditions. The deal is anticipated to be finalized in Q1 of FY2024.
