Due to the constant innovation race between Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter, we are receiving yet another update. Instagram has just made it less cumbersome to collaborate on carousels, reels and posts with many users.
Collabs on insta
Collabs is a new feature on Meta’s social media platform that allows up to four users to work together on a single set of content, such as a Reel, Post, or Carousel. You can now have up to three others join you in making this kind of material together.
If you are already connected on the site, even those with private accounts (where profile display requires friend request approval) can send co-authoring invitations. When a Reel, Post, or Carousel is uploaded, it is shared with the contributor’s audience and appears on that person’s profile page.
Musical carousels
In the next weeks, Instagram’s music library will become available in new countries, and the app now allows you to add music to Carousels. In addition, a new Instagram/Spotify feature called “Reels Music Chart” will debut in Mexico and Brazil as part of a joint effort between the two companies. Thanks to this partnership, Spotify users can now hear the top 50 songs from Instagram Reels.
Updated “Share Yours” Link
Using the “Add Yours” sticker, individuals may turn their shared content into an interactive Reel for their followers to actively participate in. This cutting-edge function enables influencers to highlight the most engaged followers in response to challenges and prompts issued by the influencers. If the Instagram account is set to public, other users will be able to see the follower’s Reel once it has been selected.
