Yamaha has expanded its electric bicycles lineup with the Wabash RT and CrossCore RC models. Its mid-drive PWSeries ST powertrain is featured on both variants, which have a top speed of 45 km/h (28 mph) and are built on solid frames.
The Wabash RT is an off-road electric bicycle, while the CrossCore RC is a road bike.
Yamaha Power and Assist Bicycles is the company’s division dedicated to the development of electric bikes, and it claims that both variants exemplify the company’s core values of producing useful and convenient products.
Electric bicycles are becoming more popular for exercise and transportation, according to the business, and the two e-bikes will be handy in a variety of situations.
Power
The 500W PWSeries ST motor provides four stages of pedal assist, allowing the bicycle to reach a top speed of 28 miles per hour.
Torque, crank cadence, wheel speed, and bike angle are four sensors that work together to determine and apply the exact amount of power required while cycling.
Both electric bicycles are vastly improved over the basic Wabash RT and CrossCore RT models from 2019. They also have their own distinct technologies and capabilities that enable them to stand out in their respective market niches.
Price
The Wabash RT will set you back Rs. 739,703 ($4,099), while the CrossCore RC will set you back Rs. 559,287 ($3,099). Both versions will be available in a few colour variations by the summer.
