Xiaomi will release the Civi S, a smartphone made especially for women

Last year, Xiaomi announced the Civi smartphone series, which was originally only available in China. According to recent reports, Xiaomi is planning on releasing a new Civi smartphone under the name Xiaomi Civi S.

The upcoming Civi S smartphone is a stays up to date of the first-generation Civi, not a second-generation handset as previously reported. Digital Chat Station, a trustworthy source, has given information on the phone’s launch and availability.

According to the source, the Xiaomi Civi S smartphone will be released later this month and will be available for purchase in China starting next month. However, there’s really still no official word on the device’s exact launch date.

Xiaomi CIVI S Specifications (Speculated)

The smartphone’s design is likely to be similar to that of the Xiaomi 12, but with a greater emphasis on the device’s thinness and lightness, as well as a superior front-facing camera sensor.

The Civi S smartphone will have a 6.55-inch AMOLED LTPO curved edge display with a Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, according to earlier leaks. It will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 778G SoC.

This future smartphone is believed to have up to 256GB of internal storage and 12GB of RAM. On the software side, it will most likely come pre-installed with Xiaomi’s MIUI custom interface on top of Android 12.

The Civi S will sport a triple-camera arrangement on the back panel for photography, with the main camera being a 64MP Samsung GW3 with OIS capability. It will also have a 2MP B&W camera and an 8MP Sony IMX355 ultra wide lens.

The phone will also have a 32MP Sony IMX616 front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. The smartphone will be powered by a 4,500mAh battery that supports 67W or 55W rapid charging.
