The Pakistani cricket team was eliminated from the 2021–2023 World Test Championship after losing the second-test match against England by 26 runs at Multan Cricket Stadium.
With this victory, the England team improved to 2-0 in the current three-match test series.
The Pakistani team is now in sixth place in the World Cup Test Championship standings and has been eliminated from the matchup between 2021 and 2023.
The World Test Championship table is utterly twisted as the competition for the title heats up in the last match.
After 12 games, the potent Australian team leads the table with 75% of the points.
In addition to a four-match series against India, they must play South Africa in three test matches.
Both the South African team and the Indian team will depend on the outcome of the upcoming Australia-South Africa series.
They will still be eligible to compete in the WTC 2022–23 finals even if Pat Cummins and the company win the South African derby and lose to India.
With 60% points after ten games, the South African team is now ranked second in the WTC standings. In the coming days, they will play three red ball games against the Kangaroos in Australia and two test matches against the Caribbean squad at home.
Proteas must prevail in each series by winning at least three games, drawing the remaining games, and avoiding defeat in order to be competitive for the WTC from 2021–2023.
The Sri Lankan squad is now in third place and still has two games left against New Zealand. To maintain 60% of the points in the WTC table, they must win the remaining games.
The Indian team has 52.08% points and is ranked fourth in the WTC table. India will play two matches against Bangladesh and four matches against Australia in the coming days.
India must defeat Bangladesh by a score of 2-0, but to advance to the WTC finals, they also need victories over Australia in all three games and a draw.
However, due to their inability to achieve the 60 PCT level, England, the West Indies, New Zealand, and Bangladesh are eliminated from the World Test Championship Final race.
