WhatsApp, owned by Meta, has announced that users can now share status updates via the web version of the program.
This functionality enables users to send text, images, and videos straight from the web client to Status, according to WaBetaInfo.

Nonetheless, some beta testers who previously participated in the web client’s formal beta program can now access it.
In the upcoming weeks, additional users will be able to access the service.
Users could previously share status updates from partner devices with each other on WhatsApp.
The instant messaging software is currently, however, removing the earlier restriction from companion devices that prevented users from sharing status updates from backup phones.
Nevertheless, the Cupertino online users can now share status updates from the online client thanks to this latest upgrade.
