WhatsApp, which is owned by Meta, is constantly improving the program to make it more tailored for users and improve their experience. WhatsApp group voice calls appear to be set to get a lot more fascinating.
According to WABetainfo, the platform has begun to roll out a new user interface for group voice calls to a handful of its beta users, but it will be expanding the new functionality to additional customers in the coming weeks.
During a group voice call, the new functionality will update the app window’s interface by bringing voice waveforms to all participants.
However, past beta versions for iOS and Android users contained references to the design change.
Despite the fact that the design modifications are minor, WABetainfo claims that they give the app a fresh new look.
Another feature has been added to the update to improve the user interface for phone calls. This function allows users to use wallpapers for voice calls, albeit there is currently no way to personalize them. The Meta-owned platform is expected to adjust the feature in the next weeks.
In addition, the business redesigned the switch camera icon in the last beta release. WhatsApp has previously eliminated the horizontal strip that displayed recent photographs from the phone’s gallery.
