WhatsApp, Instagram lost connection in big Pakistani cities

WhatsApp and Instagram stopped working in Pakistan. No one knows why. Many people in Pakistan can’t use WhatsApp. They can’t send voice notes or media like pictures and videos. This started on Thursday night. Instagram has the same problem.

The problem is everywhere. It affects big cities like Islamabad, Lahore, Faisalabad, and Karachi. Most cases come from these cities in the past 24 hours.

Many users talked about this on social media and DownDetector. TechX Pakistan checked and confirmed it today. WhatsApp media files like videos, voice notes, and pictures are not loading. Some people use virtual private networks (VPNs) to send these files.

Some users say WhatsApp works fine for them. They have no problems at all.

Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) and most internet service providers (ISPs) have not explained the issue. They have not told users why this is happening.
