Apple’s iPhone 13 and 13 pro have excellent overall performance and camera capabilities. As a result, they are among the greatest phones available in 2022.
But, as an anxious, demanding gadget addict, I’ve set my sights on the rumored iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro.

Top some expectations for the iPhone14
- No notch on the iPhone 14: It’s the notch. It must be removed. Yes, it served its job by holding the front-facing camera as well as the numerous scanners that allow you to unlock your phone simply by glancing at it.
While the notch on the iPhone 13 has shrunk marginally, it still takes up a significant portion of the screen.
So it’s time to find a better solution that will allow that screen shine.
- Face ID and an in-screen fingerprint scanner: Let’s add a fingerprint scanner to the list of items hiding behind the screen.
Face ID, Apple’s facial recognition system, works well for the most part, or did before the pandemic.
Face unlock didn’t work without pairing with an Apple Watch before the introduction of iOS 15.4 in March.
Although the latest iOS update allows you to unlock your iPhone while wearing a mask,
I believe Apple should bring back fingerprint scanning.
- A bigger zoom and larger sensor for iPhone 14’s camera: The iPhone 13 Pro camera is superb, taking beautiful images in the daylight and capturing bright, sharp shots in the middle of the night.
The main thing we looking for is a greater zoom. Although Apple increased the iPhone 13 Pro’s magnification to 3x, it still pales in comparison to the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra’s stunning 10x zoom.
Zoom lenses are fantastic for spotting unusual compositions in your surroundings and for zooming in on details that would be lost if you shot with a wide angle lens.
- Lightning charge will indeed be replaced with USB-C charging: From iPads to MacBooks to Air Pods, Apple has adopted USB-C for practically all of its devices.
Because the iPhone still utilizes Apple’s legacy Lightning port, it’s the only gadget on my desk that requires a different cable to charge.
