Vodafone and Google Cloud are attempting to spice up Europe's 5G network

Vodafone is collaborating with Google Cloud to build a cloud-based community efficiency platform that will transform the way it builds and maintains infrastructure across Europe.

Cellular operators use efficiency administration tools for nearly every single course of action.

This includes capability planning, community optimization, customer support, and 5G and edge computing services.

Vodafone believes that by simplifying its backend programmes, gaining greater visibility over data, and being able to act on it more quickly.

It will be able to provide higher and more dependable cellular services to its customers.

Vodafone community preparations

To capture and analyze billions of data points across 11 countries, Vodafone Unified Performance Management (UPM) combines Google’s smart analytics, machine learning, and AI capabilities with Cardinality.io’s telecom-specific services.

It substitutes more than 100 unique community efficiency functions in 11 international locations, giving all of its corporations with a single supply of unpolluted knowledge that may be optimized and studied utilizing synthetic intelligence (AI). 

“As the needs of our 300 million+ cellular customers grow, so will our network using this new platform,” said Johan Wibergh, Vodafone’s chief technology officer. 

“It’s a global knowledge hub that gives us a real-time view of what’s going on anywhere on our network, takes advantage of our global scale to handle visitor growth more cheaply and effectively as customer knowledge consumption grows by around 40% per year, and aids the complete automation of our network by 2025.”
