vivo is expanding its already extensive Y line of entry-level smartphones, and details about two upcoming devices have been revealed today.

The vivo Y30 5G, not to be confused with the vivo Y30 launched in 2020, will be available soon with the MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC, 6GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage. NBTC already certified it last week.

The phone will have a 6.51-inch HD+ 60 Hz IPS LCD touchscreen and will run Android 12. On the back, a dual camera setup with a 13 MP main sensor and an 8 MP ultrawide shooter is expected.

On the front, there will be an 8 MP selfie camera. The smartphone is said to have a 5,000 mAh battery and 10W charging.

The Y02s are expected to share the same screen size and refresh rate, as well as the HD+ resolution. The MediaTek Helio P35 chipset will power this model, along with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.

The camera setup will be similar to the Y01, with an 8 MP rear snapper and a 5 MP front-facing shooter. A 5,000 mAh battery is also included. The Y02s are expected to become official before the end of this month, with an announcement on July 28. It will cost around $113 (approximately INR 9,400).
