Visa opened a new office in Pakistan on Tuesday, with the goal of strengthening its talent acquisition strategy and supporting the government’s digital commerce objective.
The new office space, which was created with the workforce in mind, allows for a hybrid work environment and underscores Visa’s commitment to attracting and retaining the best talent in the country.
Visa, the world’s largest payment network, reported a 15% year-on-year increase in employee evolution in its offices in North Africa, the Levant, and Pakistan (NALP).
In addition, the company stated that it is collaborating with local banks, businesses, and FinTech’s to design and offer the payment choices that Pakistani consumers desire, as cash displacement in the region has escalated in the previous two years.
“As a network that works for everyone, everywhere, Visa’s mission is to drive digital commerce for the benefit of consumers, businesses, and the economy across Pakistan,” said Umar S. Khan, Visa Country Manager for Pakistan.
He went on to say that the new office would allow Visa to work with its clients and partners to create and deploy efficient, easy, and secure offline and online commerce procedures.
