Urus is the most popular Lamborghini ever, with 20,000 units sold

Since its introduction in December 2017, the Urus has been the most successful Lamborghini vehicle of all time, with over 20,000 units sold. The super SUV has propelled the iconic banner of Italian carmakers to new heights and will do so in the future.

In July 2021, Lamborghini Urus manufacturing topped 15,000 units, and after 11 months, another 5,000 units were produced, which is outstanding for such a pricey SUV. The Sant’Agata Bolognese factory honored the achievement by producing a Viola Mithras-colored model with the major #20,000 honour, which will be delivered to its owner in Azerbaijan.

SUVs are regarded as important for any brand’s success in the modern-day, and the Urus is the vehicle that has expanded Lamborghini’s employment by employing 500 more staff to meet increased demand for the sought-after performance SUV. According to Lamborghini, the Urus models have traveled a total of 360 million kilometers.

A 4.0L twin-turbo V8 engine delivers 650hp and 850Nm of torque in the Lamborghini Urus SUV. An 8-speed automatic transmission sends power to all four wheels, resulting in a 0-100km/h sprint time of under 3.6 seconds for the near-2.2-tonne SUV.
