UN to blacklist Israel for big horrific 'Grave Violations'

The UN has listed Israel army and security forces for child violations. The report, seen by Anadolu, covers 2023. Violence against children rose by 21%.

More children died and got hurt. It went up by 35% from last year. The UN found 32,990 bad things done to kids. 30,705 of these happened in 2023. 2,285 happened before but got checked in 2023.

In 2023, 5,301 kids died. 6,348 kids got hurt. Armed groups took 8,655 kids. 5,205 kids did not get help they needed. Authorities took 2,491 kids linked to armed groups. 4,356 kids got taken away.

Israel made the list for the first time. Gaza developments raised child violations by 155%. The report noted 8,009 cases. These affected 4,360 children. 113 were Israeli children. 4,247 were Palestinian children.

Violations included 7,837 against Palestinian kids. These happened in Gaza, the West Bank, and East Jerusalem. The Israeli army and settlers did these bad things. The Israeli army did 5,698 of them.

Israel Killed 906 Palestinian Kids: UN Report

The report said Israel killed more than 906 Palestinian kids. It mentioned hurting and abusing these kids. The Israeli army also stopped help from getting to Gaza, the West Bank, and East Jerusalem.

The Hamas Qassam Brigades and Al-Quds Brigades are also on the list.

23,000 bad things need checking in Gaza from late 2023. UN leader Antonio Guterres felt sad about children hurt by Israeli forces in Gaza and the West Bank.

Bad things are worst in Israel, Palestine, Congo, Myanmar, Somalia, Nigeria, and Sudan. Congo had 3,764 bad things. Myanmar had 2,799. Somalia had 2,283. Nigeria had 1,995. Sudan had 1,721.

Russian forces are on the list because of Ukraine. Ukraine had 938 bad things. Non-state groups cause 50% of the bad things. Government forces hurt the most children. Boys get taken, hurt, or killed more. Girls face more bad touch.
