Trump to join the NABJ’s Chicago professional Q&A

Former President Trump will go to Chicago this week. He will attend the NABJ Convention. His campaign said this on Monday night.

The event will be at the Hilton Chicago. It runs from July 31 to Aug. 4. The hotel is at 720 South Michigan Avenue. The South Loop area hosts the event.

The NABJ website gives more details. The event helps with journalism learning. It also helps with career growth. People can meet and share ideas there.

Trump will join a Q&A session. It will happen on Wednesday at noon. The event will be with political journalists. They will talk about key issues for the Black community.

Rachel Scott will lead the session. She works for a news reporting channel. Harris Faulkner will also be there. She is an anchor on FOX News. Kadia Goba, a political reporter, will join too.

NABJ also invited Vice President Kamala Harris. Her confirmation is not yet final.

The event is not open to the public. But it will be live-streamed. People can watch it on NABJ’s YouTube and Facebook pages.

Ken Lemon is the NABJ President. He said they look forward to hearing from Trump. He noted that NABJ does not support any political candidate. They aim to get honest answers for Black Americans.

After this event, Trump will go to Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. He has a rally planned there.

Last week, Trump shared plans for another rally. It will be in Butler, Pennsylvania. He has not given a date yet.
