Toyota, Honda, and Mazda certification mistakes are surging issues

Japanese car companies Toyota, Honda, Mazda, Suzuki, and Yamaha say they did not test cars right. The government stopped sending these cars out.

Toyota got the certifications for seven car models the wrong way. The models are Corolla Fielder, Corolla Axio, and Yaris Cross. The other four models are not made anymore.

“The cars were sold without getting proper certifications,” said Toyota’s chairman Akio Toyoda. “I’m sorry to customers and others affected by this.”

Toyoda said this is very bad. “It breaks all the rules,” he said. “We can’t allow this.”

Honda, Mazda, Suzuki, and Yamaha did bad testing too. The Japan Transport Ministry told them to stop selling those cars. The ministry will go to check the companies.

People now worry about Japanese cars. They are known for being safe and good. The problem and how it affects people are still being checked.
