The Youth International Conclave (YIC) introduced a new program called “Young Entrepreneurs Conference” to promote entrepreneurship in the community and organized the inaugural edition of this conference, which brought together youth from all different places.
Kohat University of Science and Technology, Kohat KP, hosted the event. “Fostering Entrepreneurship & Innovation for a Better Economy” was the topic of the event. The event was held on 16 March 2022 in which different entrepreneurs, pioneers, and technologists took part.
The Youth International Conclave, or YIC, is a non-profit committed to the development of young people. Established to bring together talented young people from all around the world in a range of fields, including cultural, technological, educational, learning platforms, and business. YIC’s mission is to provide a variety of programs and opportunities for young people to address the needs of today’s society and to develop tomorrow’s leaders.
Engr. Umar Farooq Gul, President of Youth International Conclave, began this organization as a Board member in 2019 and has expanded the network of Youth International Conclave to over 30 countries, is leading this conference. Umar Farooq Gul is an engineer by profession and a passionate entrepreneur and author. He’s bringing together young people from all around the world in several fields, including cultural, technical, educational, and business.
This was a one-day conference dedicated to fostering entrepreneurship, innovation, and technology for the ecosystem and economy’s benefit. More than 300 individuals attended this conference to learn from the incredible and well-known speakers. Speakers at the event discuss some of the primary problems that young entrepreneurs face, as well as the skills they’ll need to build successful businesses.
During the conference, representatives from several successful businesses and entrepreneurs inspire attendees to achieve their objectives. Business executives, pioneers, and technologists contributed their unique knowledge and skills at the event. The gathering points cover a wide variety of skill levels as well as diverse themes related to economic and social growth as a result of accelerated technological change.
The emphasis of the event was on accepting and inspiring future college students, entrepreneurs, and business professionals. The purpose is to educate, inspire, and advise individuals who will be our world’s future leaders, as well as to assist students in preparing to design solutions to address the world’s rising environmental, social, and quality of life concerns.
Engr Umar Farooq Gul, who spoke at the occasion, focused on the influence of entrepreneurship on economic growth and employment creation. He stated, entrepreneurship, is critical to economic progress. In economies where entrepreneurs can operate with greater flexibility, develop their ideas, and realize the profits, the improvements will be higher.
When faced with significant administrative impediments, entrepreneurs may relocate to more developed countries or switch from competitive to non-wealth-creating industries. We established this program to strengthen individual talents and support them through their path to attract productive businesses. He also highlighted that entrepreneurship is important for job creation since it creates new opportunities when start-ups enter the industry.
