To commemorate Pakistan’s 75th anniversary, the SBP will issue Rs.75 banknote

To commemorate Pakistan’s 75th Independence Day, the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) intends to print commemorative banknotes worth Rs. 75.

According to the facts, the Cabinet has approved the design of the Rs. 75 banknotes and has authorized the SBP to have the commemorative banknotes manufactured domestically, with the public expected to be able to purchase them in August.

On the 50th anniversary of Pakistan’s independence, a special Rs. 5 commemorative note was released on August 13, 1997.

Through the issuing of commemorative money, the SBP makes a determined effort to remember major events in Pakistan’s history. It also produced commemorative coins to honor notable people and commemorate significant historical events.
