Thousands of Pakistanis receive emergency flood relief from Crypto Fund

In an effort to address the sanitary needs of flood victims, Save Pakistan, a cryptocurrency fund for flood relief, has launched the “H2O Portable Toilets” initiative in flood-affected areas of the nation.

According to the specifics, it started this project in association with Tayaba.org, an NFT fundraising group. According to reports, the program would assist 525 flood survivors.

Web3 experts launched the Save Pakistan cryptocurrency fundraising campaign to generate money for the distribution of essential aid supplies to Pakistani flood victims. Professionals from the Tayaba Organization, Unchain Fund, and international climate campaigners all support the proposal.

Together with Tayaba.org, Save Pakistan has provided 200 ration bags and 70 H2O Wheels as part of its relief operations in Mirpurkhas, helping over 200 households (or over 2,100 individuals).

Save Pakistan was established on September 6, 2022, in response to the destruction brought on by the monsoon floods in Pakistan. Its goal is to use every resource at its disposal to gather money for those who have been affected by the terrible floods. At the moment, 1.164 million+ cattle have been lost, 4.4+ million acres of crops have been damaged, and a third of the nation is under water. 50 million people were left homeless and 2.28+ million dwellings were damaged by the floods.
