Samsung’s next generation of foldable is getting closer to release, and more information is being released every few days. The most recent leak comes from Ice Universe and GalaxyClub, two well-known tipsters.
Despite being a slimmer and lighter phone, the leak claims that the Galaxy Z Fold 4 will keep its battery capacity the same as before.
It will have the same 4,400 mAh battery as the Galaxy Z Fold 3 from last year. There’s no word on rapid charging yet, but Samsung’s Galaxy phones rarely use more than 25W.
Ice Universe is also confident about the foldable’s battery life, owing to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+’s higher energy efficiency.
According to rumors, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ will be built on TSMC’s 4nm node, making it more energy efficient than the non-plus model with faster clock rates.
According to previous rumours from the cat informant, Samsung is omitting the S Pen slot to keep the phone slim and light. As a result, the bezels will be thinner than before.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 will be released alongside the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 in Q3 of 2022. For the time being, little is known about the Z Flip 4, but we anticipate to learn more in the coming weeks.
Taken together, these data should convince users that the Galaxy Z Fold 4 will likely maintain Samsung’s position as the best folding phone on the market, even if the battery isn’t upgraded.
