With the new Galaxy Z Flip 4, Watch 5, and Buds 2 Pro all bundled together, the launch was a flurry of information in one place.
After a brief interlude in which Samsung discussed its plans to become more sustainable and reduce the size of its boxes, we were treated to an in-depth look at the new Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Watch 5 Pro devices. These are the ones who will bring more innovation to Samsung.
- Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 – The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 is a foldable phone that looks and feels more like a ‘regular’ flagship device than ever before. It’s slimmer, lighter, and has a larger cover screen that almost makes you forget about the massive foldable inside.
- Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 – With its 2022 successor, Samsung has addressed some of the Z Flip 3’s major flaws, primarily with a larger battery that fits into a more compact form factor.
- Samsung Watch 5 – The Samsung Watch 5 appears to offer small but thoughtful improvements, with a focus on battery life and a slightly tougher design, but that may have been all that was required to keep the company competitive.
- Samsung Watch 5 Pro is designed for outdoor fitness enthusiasts who want more than a standard Samsung watch can offer, though Garmin converts are unlikely to be persuaded.
- Buds 2 Pro from Samsung: Talk about powerful, head-filling sound, and the ANC is equally impressive. It does an excellent job of canceling out most ambient noise, possibly even better than my Air Pods Pro. Even at $229.99, I believe these Bluetooth ear buds will be very popular.
