Telecard receives approval to list its subsidiary on PSX

According to a stock filing, the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) administration has given Telecard Limited the go-ahead to list its subsidiary Supernet Limited through the book-building procedure on April 12-13.

The PSX board of directors voted last year to list Telecard Limited’s subsidiary in 2021 in order to obtain capital for the company’s projected growth of operations and services.

Supernet provides a variety of enabling ICT solutions such as internet, IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, software development, and so on. It has about 200 locations in Pakistan where it provides services to business clients.

In recent months, the company has received service contracts worth up to Rs. 250 million from a variety of companies, including projects from the State Bank of Pakistan, Avara, an Australian corporation, and mobile phone operators, among others.

The listing of Supernet on PSX will also inspire enterprises in the technology industry to increase their visibility through a publicly traded corporation.
