Yesterday saw the conclusion of Takedown 2023, the biggest international Tekken tournament ever held in Pakistan, with Atif Butt unseating Arslan Ash as champion.
The Pakistani Tekken champion defeated the tough Arslan Ash in the championship match with a score of 3-0. In the championship match, Atif Butt from Fate played Akuma, and Ash attended the event with his Kunimitsu.
In the decisive set, each player held a two-round advantage over the other, and anything might have happened at any time.
At the conclusion of the final round, Butt had less lives remaining, but that was just before he struck Ash with a crucial EX Tatsumaki into Raging Demon, concluding the 3-0 set and taking the championship.
Be aware that the scoreboard for the championship game contained a mistake. It said that each player had won one game in the set, but Atif Butt was actually 2-0 at the time before triumphing again against Ash.
Takedown 2023 Winner Prize Money
At initially, this led to some uncertainty at the competition, but it was swiftly cleared up afterwards, and Atif Butt was named the Takedown 2023 champion. He received a whopping Rs. 1,000,000 in prize money, while Ash, who finished in second, received Rs. 400,000.
Additionally, Heera from Ashes Gaming finished in the top 3 and took home Rs. 200,000. Farzeen and Dawood Sikandar were ranked fourth and fifth, respectively.
AK from the Philippines and ULSAN from Korea, two non-Pakistani players, took seventh and eighth place, respectively.
