Sindh Information and Transport Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon announced a deal with a local diesel-electric hybrid bus manufacturer to expand the Peoples Bus Service fleet in Karachi.
Diesel-Hybrid Buses in Sindh
Memon assured foreign investors and the local business community at a ceremony to launch Yutong Master Company’s diesel-electric hybrid bus that the government would provide every support and facility to increase their capacity and output.
Memon stated that provincial officials have been directed to improve public transportation in all of the province’s cities and districts. According to him, the government intends to modernize public transportation in all cities and districts.

Memon stated that the transportation department will construct more bus depots to meet public transportation needs. He announced on Twitter that a new fleet of diesel-electric hybrid buses will be arriving in Karachi soon.
The transport department has given new projects. He vowed that the government would provide the best possible transportation for its people.
