Sindh held its first premium number plate auction. The auction set a record with the “A1” plate sold for Rs. 100 million.
At the auction, the premium plate “7” sold for Rs. 46 million. Muzmal Kareem made the highest bid. Mukesh Chawla gave the certificate to Muzmal Kareem.
The plate “786” sold for Rs. 26.5 million. Businessman Sorosh bought it. Sindh Energy Minister Nasir Shah gave the certificate to Sorosh.

The excise department sold the “A1” plate for Rs. 100 million. Muzmal Kareem made the highest bid again. Senior Minister Sindh Sharjeel Memon gave the certificate to Muzmal Kareem.
Sharjeel Memon spoke at the event. He said premium plates are like gold. They are a form of investment. Auction winners can resell their plates. Funds from the auction will help flood victims.
