As a result, since 2004, USAID has announced a merit and need-based scholarship program that provides scholarships to students from financially disadvantaged families.
USAID’s Scholarship Program
The program will provide scholarship funding for two semesters to help flood-affected students at thirty partner universities.
Floods in Pakistan last year caused unprecedented damage to infrastructure and livelihoods for millions of people.
