Fashion influencers, music influencers, and, of course, food influencers abound in Pakistan (because what are Pakistanis without their love for food). However, when it comes to the relatively new category of Ammi-influencers (also known as momfluencers), there is only one woman or rather Ammi who has blazed the way: the original ScaryAmmi or Ayesha Nasir.
It’s incredible to watch how a simple Facebook group has grown into the loudest and most heard voice for Pakistan’s Ammis.
“I am always taken aback when I see the amount of recognition, acknowledgement and following ScaryAmmi has received,” said Ayesha Nasir. “This was definitely not what I had expected when I began ScaryAmmi almost three and a half years ago.”
Talking with TechX Pakistan, the Business Development Manager of ScaryAmmi, Mr. Ahmed highlighted the vision and mission of ScaryAmmi and told us how this tremendous business idea born. He stated, “Back in 2018, ScaryAmmi started as a Facebook group, our mission is that especially for those who are going to be mother and there are so many misconceptions about the birth of a child and that’s why they got scared to take things so much confusing.”
