Data released by the central bank on Thursday showed that the State Bank of Pakistan’s (SBP) foreign exchange reserves decreased by $63 million on a weekly basis.

The SBP’s foreign currency reserves as of May 24 were reported to be $9.094 billion, a $63 million decrease from May 17’s total of $9.157 billion.
Liquid Foreign Currency
With net reserves held by banks other than the SBP included.
The nation’s total liquid foreign currency reserves were $14.315 billion as of the previous week, a $270 million decrease.
Banks’ net reserves as of the end of the week were $5.222 billion, down $207 million from the previous week.
