Samsung's One UI 5 will be available to the public before others

Android 12 is still a relatively new version of the operating system, with Samsung’s handsets receiving the update barely a month after Google’s Pixel phones. It’s reasonable to say that Android 13’s public release is still a long way off. The firm, on the other hand, has already begun developing the platform.

According to SamMobile, Samsung will begin working on providing One UI 5 beta releases in July. Android 13 beta releases are likely to begin later this month.

Samsung will begin its One UI 5.0 beta program after Android 13 reaches platform stability, according to Google’s release roadmap and recent speculations. This latest update has yet to be confirmed by Samsung.

SamMobile also offered a list of devices that would get One UI 5 and Android 13 in the future. Samsung has not divulged any intentions for One UI 5 and is unlikely to do so until the software is released to the market. According to the source, the corporation is planning to upgrade over 70 gadgets.

It’s worth reminding that the company is also developing One UI 4.1.1 for its upcoming foldable phones in parallel with One UI 5.0. However, One UI 4.1.1 will likely remain exclusive to a few devices, unlike One UI 5.0, which will be more widely available. Either way, not counting beta builds, One UI 4.1.1 will come to the market first.
