The Galaxy Tab A9, Samsung’s latest Android tablet, has made its official debut, albeit quietly, on the official Samsung Guatemala website and on Amazon UAE.

Some press materials mention the Tab A9+, but no complete specifications sheet or pricing details are provided at this time.

A9 Galaxy Tab

The 8.7-inch IPS LCD display on the Tab A9 has a resolution of 800 x 1340 pixels.

According to a previous Google Play Console listing, the device is powered by MediaTek’s Helio G99 chipset. With 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage for the base variant, which can be expanded via the microSD card slot.

According to the Amazon UAE listing, both the Tab A9 and A9+ are available with up to 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage.

The Tab A9+ is expected to be released with an 11-inch LCD display with a resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels, a Snapdragon 695 chipset, 4 GB or 8 GB of RAM, up to 128 GB of storage, and the possibility of 5G support.

Both of these new tablets are powered by Android 13, with the One UI 5.1 user interface. Unfortunately, no information about the cameras or battery capacities of the two new tablets is available.

The LTE-enabled Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 costs $190 on Amazon UAE and $191 on the Samsung Guatemala website. Pricing and availability information for additional regions are expected to be released in the coming days.
