Grand Theft Auto (GTA) 6 is expected to contain the largest map yet for players to explore, with the game planned to debut sometime in 2025.

Plans to debut in 2025

While the first official trailer for the highly anticipated game was released in December of last year, Grand Theft Auto 6 suffered a number of challenges, including leaks and a potential delay until 2026.

Meanwhile, people speculated on the scale of the map that GTA 6 would provide to gamers. The official teaser, combined with multiple leaks, has raised anticipation that it will have the largest map in a Rockstar game.

Map larger than RDR 2

Fans believe that GTA 6’s map will be even broader than Red Dead Redemption 2, which stretched the length of North America.

It is worth noting that the sixth installment of the game will be launched over a decade after the previous title, which was released in 2013.

GTA 6 is expected to be set in the fictitious Vice City, which was influenced by Miami, Florida, and its surroundings.

Multiple Cities

However, the game is expected to include not just multiple cities, but also the surrounding areas such as the Keys (Gator Keys), mountain ranges, ports, and so on.

One user on r/GTA6 compiled all of the map information received from the official trailer and various leaks to create a list of locations demonstrating that players will have a large world to explore.

“We all know this game will be set in Florida. What a lot of people don’t know is that the game will feature surrounding states, and parts of them. Mainly Georgia,” the user wrote.

Rockstar, on the other hand, has not acknowledged or disputed the GTA 6 map theories, giving fans the opportunity to weigh in on the anticipated map in the forthcoming game.

As suspicions circulated about the release and anticipated gameplay of Rockstar’s future game, fans received dismal news from its publisher, who hinted at a price increase.

GTA 6’s Price Point

According to Take Two CEO Strauss Zelnick, GTA 6’s price point should be higher than the typical £60 to £70 in prior years.

Zelnick stated that AAA games should be priced based on their “per hour value”. This means that games should be priced according to the amount of gameplay they provide.
