Release of Xiaomi 13 delayed until December 11

On December 1, Xiaomi’s 13 series flagship phones and MIUI 14, the most recent OS version for Xiaomi and Redmi phones, were planned for release. But the tech giant has now announced a new release date, December 11, following an unexpected postponement. In China, the event will begin at 7 o’clock local time.

Xiaomi 13 will have a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and be a rather compact flagship phone.

A few days ago, official press shots of the flagship phone were teased, showcasing its flat sides and screen in addition to its blue leather hue.

The picture likewise reveals that the Xiaomi 13 Pro will have a comparable camera set-up but one without a periscope lens. Despite this, the main 50 MP camera will use a 1′′ sensor that was first seen on the Xiaomi 12S Ultra.

The MIUI 14 information is still scant. The native Gallery app now has additional capabilities including word recognition, improved notifications, and anti-fraud detection, according to leaked images.

After Jiang Zemin, a former general secretary of the Chinese Communist Party, passed away, the Xiaomi 13 series was temporarily postponed. The revised launch date began showing on the Chinese Mi Store, despite Xiaomi not making an official statement on its Weibo or Chinese website.

The much-awaited Xiaomi 13 series phones will have the best features and updates available. We’ll update you when more information becomes available.
