Xiaomi‘s highly popular Redmi Note smartphone line is updated on an annual basis. After launching the Note 13 series in September 2023, the company is now working on its successor, the Redmi Note 14 series.

Preliminary information about these new phones has emerged. According to a leak from tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo.

A popular Chinese social media platform, the Redmi Note 14 series will prioritise improved camera capabilities and a sleek design.

1.5K AMOLED Display

Among phones in the squad will feature a high-resolution 1.5K AMOLED display.

With a fast refresh rate and be powered by the Qualcomm SM7635 chip, that’s the model number for the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3.

While the tipper failed to name the device, the details offer it might be the Redmi Note 14 Pro, a follow-up to the Redmi Note 13 Pro, which used the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor.

More Than 5000 mAh Battery

Furthermore, the news suggests that the phone may have a long-lasting battery with a capacity of more than 5000 mAh.

While the official start date has not yet been confirmed, based on Xiaomi’s prior release trends.

The Redmi Note 14 Pro and another model in the series are expected to arrive in China by autumn 2024. International markets may see these devices by early 2025.
