Earlier this month, Wali Tech acquired the former Multan Sultans franchise for Rs2.45 billion. Following the purchase, the franchise was renamed Rawalpindi. This move followed the Pakistan Cricket Board’s decision to auction the team after the previous owner, Ali Tareen, declined to renew the 10-year agreement.
The franchise has promised that its official logo will be revealed soon, further building excitement as PSL 11 approaches.
The 11th edition of the Pakistan Super League will run from 26 March to 3 May across various cities. For the first time, Peshawar will host some matches, giving fans in the region a chance to watch them live.
