Punjab Government has implemented an E-Stamping System to Eliminate Fraud

To make things easier for citizens, the Punjab government recently implemented an e-stamping system in the province. The e-stamp papers will be supplied after the buyer delivers the original CNIC.

This measure would reduce the quantity of fake and counterfeit stamp papers, which have cost the government millions of rupees.

“The main objective of the e-stamping system is to prevent paper and process related fraudulent practices, leakage of government revenues, and store information in electronic form and build a central database to make the verification process easier,” the Punjab Board of Revenue stated on its website.
