Punjab accepts the summary for 11,000 vacancies in Govt Schools

The summary for the hiring of thousands of non-teaching staff members in public sector educational institutions across the province has been approved by the Punjab government.

The summary for the hiring of more than 11,000 positions (BS-1 to BS-4) in the School Education Department (SED) has been approved, the Punjab Education Minister, Dr. Murad Raas, wrote on Twitter.

The hiring process will begin in the next few days, the minister said, and he is taking care of other similar summaries related to the provincial education sector that have already begun.

These positions were made public by the provincial government last month. This was the provincial government’s third significant advancement in education in a week.

Thousands of teachers working in public sector educational institutions had initially been given regular employment status by the Punjab government. The summary to hire 14,000 government teachers permanently had been forwarded by the Education Ministry.

Another summary for the hiring of thousands of educators came after that. Over 16,000 educators were to be hired by public sector educational institutions, according to a summary sent by the ministry.
