PTA recommends the usage of Parental Control Apps for Parents

To avoid any adverse incidence connected to cybercrime, the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has encouraged parents to utilize parental control software on mobile phones and devices.

“Parents need to be watchful of children’s online activities to avoid their involvement in cybercrime over the internet/social media, ultimately resulting in penal consequences.” the telecom watchdog advised in a warning.

The normal advantages of gaming, entertainment, and learning can be had online, but there are also potential drawbacks, including improper content, cyberbullying, and exposure to predators.

If parents and teachers don’t guide or watch over their children, they might easily become victims of such activities, the watchdog said.
