The government has a 98 percent success record in preventing the transmission of obscene and unsuitable content on social media, according to the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA).
According to a PTA statement, social networking sites have processed over 9,04,000 complaints out of a total of 9,16,000, exceeding the 98 percent execution rate.
For the government’s approach to be successful, compliance from a variety of sites, including as Facebook, TikTok, and Twitter, is essential.
