The Pakistan Super League (PSL) commemorated Pink Ribbon Day on yesterday to boost breast cancer awareness. Pink hats have been worn by both sides in last night match, and the National Stadium Karachi has been turned pink to raise awareness of the terrible disease spreading in our society.
PSL has always been in the forefront of raising breast cancer awareness. They established the pink day tradition in the 2018 edition of the tournament and have decided to keep it going as part of their social responsibility.
On numerous social media channels, the PSL’s official account has also altered its display photos to pink.
Take a look at the new pink logo:
Breast cancer awareness messages were displayed across the stadium, and players from Karachi Kings and Peshawar Zalmi donned pink ribbons on their jerseys throughout the match, according to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
In keeping with tradition, during the match between Peshawar Zalmi and Quetta Gladiators at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on February 15, the PSL will commemorate Golden Ribbon Day to promote awareness for childhood cancer, another terrible disease spreading in our society.
