This year’s monsoon rains in Pakistan broke records in many locations. In all of Pakistan’s provinces, flooding is wreaking havoc and causing fatalities as well as the destruction of priceless assets, infrastructure, and agriculture. Although both the federal and provincial governments are contributing to the effort to help the places and relief individuals affected by the floods.
One of Pakistan’s fundamental industries has always been information technology. Therefore, in light of the current disasters, P@SHACares is introducing the P@SHA Relief Fund Program.
P@SHA requested the IT sector and its participants to step up and do their utmost to offer aid by raising and contributing the most money possible to assist our impacted people.
In order to assist the afflicted communities, the PM and the CMs of all the provinces have declared an emergency and established flood relief funds.
The people, the wealthy, and the foreign community have all been urged by the government to make whatever contributions they are able to.
Thousands of poor and vulnerable communities, many of whom are still healing from the consequences of COVID-19, have been adversely affected by the recent rain and flooding.
Because of the floods, their condition has gotten worse. It is challenging for humanitarian groups to assess and immediately respond to the needs of individuals afflicted due to the pandemic’s compounding impacts.
