Even Prime Minister Imran Khan couldn’t avoid the PSL frenzy as the seventh edition of the Pakistan Super League got underway. On Tuesday, the former world cup winning captain and current Prime Minister sent out a special video message to commemorate the start of the PSL season.
Imran Khan appeared alongside former teammate and current PCB Chairman Ramiz Raja in a video uploaded by the official Twitter account of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, as the Prime Minister expressed his approval for PSL 2022.
The former captain, who was known for his tenacity and bravery, exhorted all of the teams to play their hearts out. Imran Khan also voiced his excitement for the seventh edition of the Pakistan Super League, predicting a year of tough competition between clubs and enjoyable cricket for fans.
The PSL fever is at an all-time high, thanks to Prime Minister Imran Khan’s motivational and courageous video message.
The Pakistan Super League’s seventh season will go off today, January 27th, at National Stadium Karachi. At 8:00 p.m. local time, the defending champions Multan Sultans will face the Karachi Kings in the first match.
