According to the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS), petroleum product production fell 13.39 percent during July-June 2022-23 (FY23), with indices falling to 86.91 from 103.21 during July-June 2021-22 (FY22).
High-speed diesel output fell 17.09 percent in FY23, remaining at 4.655 billion liters compared to 5.614 billion liters in FY22.
Furnace oil output decreased by 14.65 percent in FY23, remaining at 2.191 billion liters compared to 2.567 billion liters in FY22. Jet fuel oil increased by 6.63 percent in FY23 to 867.573 million liters, up from 813.663 million liters in FY22.
Kerosene oil saw a 5.54 percent decrease in FY23, reaching 113.574 million liters compared to 120.234 million liters in FY22.
According to PBS data, cement production decreased 13.67 percent in FY23 to 41.448 million tons, down from 48.011 million tons in FY22.

According to official data, high-speed diesel saw a 15.63 percent decrease in output, remaining at 4.308 billion liters in July-May 2022-23 compared to 5.106 billion liters in July-May 2021-22.
Furnace oil output decreased by 12.45 percent, remaining at 2.043 billion litres in July-May 2022-23, compared to 2.334 billion litres in July-May 2021-22. Jet fuel oil increased by 9.53 percent to 811.644 million litres in July-May 2022-23, up from 741.023 million litres in July-May 2021-22.
