The petrol price in Pakistan today has gone down by Rs 0.84 per litre, effective 25 September 2026. High Speed Diesel has also seen a bigger cut of Rs 2.63 per litre, giving some relief to commuters and transporters across the country.
New Petrol and Diesel Prices in Pakistan
The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has officially notified the following new petrol price and diesel price in Pakistan for the current fortnight:

Why Did Fuel Prices Change?
OGRA revises fuel prices on a fortnightly basis based on movements in global crude oil prices and fluctuations in the Pakistani rupee exchange rate. When international oil prices soften or the rupee holds steady against the dollar, OGRA passes some of that benefit on to consumers through price reductions. The current decrease reflects a slight easing in global oil market conditions during this review period.

For everyday Pakistanis, even a small drop in petrol and diesel prices can make a real difference. Lower diesel costs in particular tend to ease pressure on public transport fares, freight charges, and food delivery costs since trucks and buses run largely on diesel.
