PFN now has sixty members, but to further diversify the representation of fintech businesses in Pakistan, the platform will add twenty additional users to its network, mostly from the e-commerce sector.
According to the CEO of PFN Fahad Sajid, the forum will host a Pakistan Fintech Summit at the national level in Karachi in the upcoming months. This summit will bring together industry leaders to decide on a unified policy narrative for the fintech sector, plan new initiatives for the sector, and facilitate member businesses and their professionals.
PFN will host roundtables and webinars for the sector under the new leadership while also generating research and policy papers for stakeholders in the sector, regulators, and users.
The goal of Pakistan Fintech Network, the first legally recognized national-level fintech association, is to CONNECT, COLLABORATE, CREATE, and CATALYZE together for the expansion and progress of the sector. Startups, core fintech companies, solution providers, and other authorized institutions (DFS, PSO/PSP, EMI, banks, etc.) are all members of the network, which connects the whole financial ecosystem.
According to the CEO, the network’s mission is to promote digital and financial literacy while advancing financial inclusion in Pakistan.
