After a record-breaking monsoon, Pakistan will eventually witness warm weather

The majority of Pakistan is expected to endure hot, humid weather on Tuesday and Wednesday after experiencing the wettest monsoon season, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).

The PMD’s Daily Forecast predicts that in plain regions, it will be hot and muggy, while in certain places of AJK, GB, upper KP, northeast Punjab, and northeast Balochistan, it will be partly overcast and rainy with wind and thunderstorms.

The majority of the nation has endured hot and muggy weather during the previous 24 hours.

However, a few locations in northeast Punjab, upper KP, AJK, and GB saw significant rains, wind, and thunderstorms.

On Monday, rainfall totals were 97mm in Lahore, 30mm in Okara, 23mm in Barkhan, 17mm in Sialkot, 15mm in Khanewal, 14mm in Sahiwal, 12mm in Gujranwala, and 5mm in Rawalakot.

Noorpur Thal continued to be the hottest spot in the nation at that time, with a temperature of 40°C, while Turbat and Joharabad also reached 39°C.

The monsoon in Karachi broke all previous records. For the first time ever, the provincial capital aimed for 1,000 mm of precipitation. South Karachi reportedly received 800mm of the region’s total rainfall.
