Pakistan to see high decline in gold prices

Gold prices fell in Pakistan on Monday. This followed four days of increase. The price per tola dropped to Rs245,100. The decline was Rs1,300.

For 10 grams, the price was Rs210,134. This was after a decrease of Rs1,113. The All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA) shared these rates.

On Saturday, gold prices rose by Rs2,000 per tola in Pakistan.

International gold rates also fell on Monday. According to APGJSA, the rate was $2,376 per ounce. This included a $20 premium. The rate had dropped by $12 during the day.

Silver rates stayed the same. They were at Rs2,900 per tola.

In April, gold reached a record high. The price was Rs252,200 per tola in the local mark.

Gold Prices Dropped to Rs248,200 in Pakistan on May 2024

Gold prices in Pakistan dropped slightly in May 2024. They closed at Rs248,200 per tola.

The Karachi Sarafa Association reported these figures. Gold (24 carats) fell by Rs300 per tola. The price of 10 grams fell by Rs236 to Rs212,791.

The Sarafa Association released a brief statement. It said gold prices stayed Rs4,000 below cost. This was due to a drop in the public’s buying power.

On Monday, gold rose by Rs2,300 per tola. But it dropped by Rs1,900 per tola on Tuesday. This was because international prices fell.

At 1127 GMT, spot gold was down 0.3 percent. It was $2,413.96 per ounce in international markets.
