Pakistan’s growing technology ecosystem will have a significant opportunity to strengthen its regional presence when technology leaders from across Asia, Oceania gather in Jakarta for the ASOCIO Digital & AI Summit 2026, from 5, 7 October.

Hosted by APTIKNAS, the three-day Summit will connect government leaders, national ICT associations, C-level executives, technology companies, investors and innovators from 25 ASOCIO member economies.

For Pakistan, the gathering comes at a particularly positive moment. P@SHA has announced that Pakistani organisations secured recognition across 11 categories of the ASOCIO Official Digital & AI Awards 2026, spanning digital government, talent development, global business services, cybersecurity, AI for public good, education, healthcare, smart agriculture, financial services, workforce transformation and manufacturing.

The recognised organisations include Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Technology Board (KPITB), REMIRE, Symmetry Group, SecureBeans, PlanetBeyond, CARE, DxVision.AI, Sybrid, Unikrew Solutions, Geekinn and Smart IS. Together, they show a technology narrative increasingly broader than outsourcing alone, spanning AI applications, digital government, cyber resilience and industry-specific innovation.

The Jakarta Summit provides an opportunity to convert that recognition into regional business relationships, technology partnerships, visibility and market access.

The Digital Summit on 6 October will focus on secure and resilient digital economies, while the inaugural AI Summit on 7 October will examine how AI is moving from experimentation toward practical impact across industries, education, government and society.
