ACs are not permitted in workshops, railway factories, or other offices for PR officers up to grade 18.

The government directed Pakistan Railways to execute the new austerity measures.

According to railway sources, the railway department is already losing money. They also stated that several measures are being made to increase savings.

Tickets Price May Rise Again

Petroleum product prices are projected to rise again as a result of currency depreciation and rising international oil prices.

According to a media source, citing tax rates and import parity prices, petrol and high-speed diesel (HSD) prices could climb by Rs. 10-14 and Rs. 14-16 per liter on September 15. Kerosene costs would rise by Rs. 10 as well.

As a result, the price of gasoline and diesel is likely to climb to Rs. 320 and Rs. 325 per liter, respectively.

As a result, transportation businesses, including PR, are expected to raise their fare rates and service charges.
