Pakistan Railways has achieved a remarkable feat by earning an incredible Rs 66 billion in the first nine months of the current fiscal year, which runs from 2023 to 2024.
This is even more impressive given the financial challenges posed by the heavy monsoon floods.
Officials from the Ministry hope that the department’s revenue will reach Rs 80 billion by the end of the fiscal year.
They credit this success to the consistent hard work and dedication of railway employees, who have worked tirelessly to keep trains running smoothly and efficiently.
This achievement marks a significant increase over the same period in the previous fiscal year, when the department earned approximately Rs 39 billion.
It demonstrates that, despite the challenges, Pakistan Railways is on track for growth and improvement, which is good news for both the department and the country as a whole.
